6 Weeks Out
Welcome to our blog! To help keep friends and family updated on our trip, we've created this blog to share our thoughts and pics of our upcoming trip.
I also thought I would post our latest list of supplies: we are slowly but surely filling up our Rubbermaid containers to take hundreds of pounds to Africa with us.
Here's the latest list:
Medical Needs:
Bandaids and other general first aid supplies
Childrens Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Benadryl
Childrens vitamins: Flintstones chewable or equivalent
Cough syrup
Hand sanitizer
Antifungal - Ointment and Shampoo
Antibiotic ointment
Sterile -First Aid gauze
Surgical gloves
Electrolyte (oral rehydration solution - powdered form)Special Request from the AHOPE nurse (anyone work for a pediatrician?)
Nelson Textbook of Pediatrics 18th Edition with CD
Textbook Of Pediatric Infectious Disease - current edition
Harrison Textbook of Internal Medicine -16th EditionArts and Crafts supplies
Preschool supplies: crafts, workbooks, coloring books, crayons, washable markers, etc.
